One time I decided to drive wearing flipflops (no weight) on a rainy day (slippery pedals) after leg day (f&^$). Never. Again.

When i first got my car, i was scared to drive it since i stalled it about 10 times the first night, but after about a week i quit stalling. Now it just feels natural and driving an automatic is weird to me now.

I feel you, pumping the clutch for 45 minutes is a bitchhhh.

But so worth it when you're on the right roads.

You guys really never stall yours? I've driven a manual for years, and it seems about every couple weeks I'll be backing up a steep tight driveway or something paying more attention to where I'm going than the clutch and end up stalling it by mistake.

Now I haven't driven a manual in a while, but this happened with my manual car I owned for over 10 years occasionally too.

I've been teaching myself as well on my 16 M6. It was definitely a challenge bringing it home from the dealer.lol. Through all my test drives of the M6 SS I didn't stall at all. I'm guessing it was the nerves and excitement from.buying the car. Luckily I had my brother with me when I drove the car home as he has driven stick for most of his life and got us down the road long enough for my nerves to calm down. I'll stall every now and again but I've come a long way in 1000 miles.

I have driven a stick most of my life and dont really ride a clutch much but the camaro is a bit different. I still once and awhile stall it and I have not stalled my other vehicles in over 10 years. Mine the clutch seems to gain some tension and push back right at the point were it starts to grab. Shoe changes with different thickness soles requires a few minutes to get back in sync.

This will be my first manual since my 94 camaro, sold that in 2011'ish. I've never driven a new manual, I'm very use to having to push the clutch down 1 - 1 1/2 feet. I'm looking very forward to a smooth gear box and a light responsive clutch

I have a new found respect for people's personal space at lights now .I used to leave like a foot between bumpers but now I leave like 5 feet to help me out. Just the other day some chicken got on my butt, and everytime creeper up to get some space she would do the same. Made me a little angry
