Very good info.

Modshack, just looking for clarification because I'm, making myself a delivery checklist. Are the parts you refer to as "Front Spoiler Pieces" the two air dams directly in front of the front wheel the move air around them HERE? Someone in that post said his weren't installed as well.

Yup, I had to crawl under car & install it... Not too happy! Then just last night I realized they also forgot to install the mylink software update!

None of this installed on the car. I started looking around, particularly to find a home for the large covers. Every underside shot of a Camaro has shown the rear lower control arm bare. Turns out these covers go there, held on with 4 pop pins.
You may or may not have them depending on how much attention the PDI dept paid to their instructions. If you don't have them, I'd complain. The reason being is that lower suspension pieces are usually the first to chip, peel and rust from road debris. These covers protect that area. Probably a little aero benefit as well. Check your cars!
DUDE, I bought from the same dealer and had the same exact thing. No parts installed at all. All just bags in my trunk. While I was installing my front splitter I decided to open up the bags and install the front air dams, and the rear guards. I did not install the track only brake ducts.
Jeff Gordon Chevrolet of Wilmington was great for everything else I honestly need to say, SO I would do business again, but that was kind of annoying..

Guess their PDI shop needs a little work...I didn't pay for their "Extras" package so I guessed maybe they just didn't finish up...Guess not. Otherwise I agree...They were a pleasure to deal with..

I just got through with an email conversation with my dealer on the 2SS we're picking up Saturday. All appropriate parts installed, race ducts in the trunk and every Camaro on the lot was updated for Android Auto last week. I guess not every dealer is incompetent but it's certainly worth asking the right questions in advance of delivery just to be sure.

And no, it's not my local Daytona dealer...... We're driving 80 miles to another dealer because they have the exact car we want and we don't need a shower to wash off the slime after doing business with them.

I was just looking at this PDI form below, the 2 areas I outlined in red. Those rear arm parts it says definitely should go on per the second section. The first section references 2 parts. I had to read it twice to make sure I understood the wording:

Quote:
"Control arm brake cooling deflectors and smaller brake shields are included in the items shipped in the trunk. The deflectors hang low and should and should be used for track purposed only. Advise the customer to install the deflectors for track purposes only."

So these are the "brake shields" and should go on right?

And these are the "deflectors" that are for track use only. Am I reading that right?

Do my questions make sense?

I know the last pic is the deflectors. Just trying to confirm the brake shields are the pieces in front of the wheel and not some part I can't see in those pics. I just want to get my extra PDI notes for the dealer straight.

The brake shields should be there. I'm pretty sure that's it for those pieces. And also have you seen a picture of the control arm covers?

The rear arm covers? Yes I've seen those and the form I showed above clearly says they should go on during the PDI. I guess to simplify my question I should have just said what the hell are the "brakes shields" lol.

Your first picture are parts to be installed at PDI. They are not part of the race only package (which includes picture 2, and a smaller brake shield that mounts behind the rotors)
