Question Who would prefer Auto climate control?

I can't understand why they aren't offering automatic climate control. There is nothing more annoying than having to adjust the temperature or the fan constantly when driving. I think the cost of the Camaro warrants it to be automatic (where you just set the temp. and forget it).
What do you think?
(They listened to wanting blue for an SS color, maybe they'll think about this one)

do u drive from one climate to another a lot? my car has the auto climate control but it only changes about once everytime i drive.

it'll go full hot/cold depending where i am until it gets within range of preset temp, and then it drops down to a lower and more constant heating/cooling.

so if its really hot outside, max out the A/C until it cools off and then turn it down to a reasonable level - its not much of a hassle IMO

Don't change climates, but the car has remote start and it would be nice to have it at a set temperature, so if I remote start it, it'll heat, or cool the car automatically. If I have the car parked and leave it for a while, I don't want to have to make sure I set the heater, or air conditioner for getting back in before I get out. Just want to have it at my comfortable temperature setting and not have to think about it.

What happened to performance being the interest in American muscle cars? I would rather that never be an option for the Camaro. I want a fast car, not a luxury car.

yep, should have been an option or included on the 2SS. The 2SS package is way overpriced IMO.

TO ME, When all we knew was that a new Camaro was coming out. The only thing I wanted was for the car to have a nice hp'd engine and for it to remain somewhat close to the concept car. BOTH of those were given to me (us) and couldnt ask for more (besides getting blue ) But to me the options in the car were not a huge deal to me. But just bonuses that I get with the joy of driving this badass car.

What about messaging seats? Heated steering wheel? Heated outside mirrors? Go buy a BMW, you don't deserve a Camaro.

lol...I agree with you. You buy a Camaro for PERFORMANCE!

is it really that hard to reach your hand over and adjust the heat/AC? Hell, it may even be a button on the steering wheel, but I'm too lazy to check!!

We have an '08 Z06, has climate control and heated seats. You may need something to wipe up your barf.

I think the smiley face meant he was joking. This thread is a joke. What I am about to say isn't automatic climate control is annoying.
