Now THIS is how a ZL1 Should Sound!!
Hello all, this is my 2017 ZL1 equipped with Rotofab and Kooks axleback only. This is the race muffler version. I think this is a very underrated and overlooked exhaust. It gives a much different, and deeper sound versus the common competitors, plus I got it for under $700 to my door. I've had some people turn up their noses at it in previous discussions, so I figure I'd make a little video of it. The video could be better, but it was just me and it was kind of nasty out that day. Pay attention to after the driveby, there are some downshifts and by that point I'm pretty far up the road. This an A10 car.
P.S. Please play the video with headphones or bluetooth speaker for the full experience. https://youtu.be/nyTESHFm5Dw |

OP,
Thanks for the fix. I have to agree, it does sound great. Deep enough to sound like an American muscle car, just enough rasp, and the tips look very good. I still have my suitcase, but the fuse is pulled and I don't really have/see a need for the valve system. Where did you purchase, I may go this route right away! Thanks for the info... JJ

I purchased from Weapon X Motorsports. I also did the fuse pull initially. It worked for a while but eventually I wanted more. I'm more than pleased with this choice. I gambled on it because there weren't many soundclips out there, but I was familiar with the type of sound that the mufflers they use normally produce. I was looking for minimal rasp and a truly different sound from stock, as Borla and Corsa seem to retain much of the stock raspy characteristics. This system truly delivers. |

Sounds great! Does it pop on decel when you downshift at higher RPMs?
