I bought a black 13' BOSS 302 LS in may (traded 09 GT500) and really enjoyed the car until I drove my friends 14' ZL1. The ride the comfort the amenities in a car that handles better and is more powerful. I didn't get a ZL1 cause I didn't think I could afford it. The 12's are coming down in price and I found one with 6k miles for $45k certified preowned (silver ice metallic black wheels suede) and I gonna go for it!
I have positive equity in the boss! This car will be my dd and I love how this car performs on the track and how nice it is to just cruise with.

Good luck on the deal bro. Personally I'd keep the boss only because it was discontinued and may hold it's value more. But if you don't care about all that, the ZL1 definitely won't disappoint.

New cars are not going to appreciate in value from quite awhile if ever. Want a collector car buy a '70 Boss or numbers matching '69 Z-28.

You want a ZL1.... buy it. They are a great DD and a ton of fun. (Guess 2 tons of fun.

You can get a 13 for that price as well. If you don't care about the mylink radio with Nav then the 12 is the way to go. I wish you good credit with this. Luck really isn't needed as much. Cheers!

Follow your heart. Never understood the "hold on to it" philosophy. Holding on for what a big payday when you sell it? Sentimental because a child was conceived in it? From what I have read he wants the ZL1.

That's a no-brainer to me. ZL1 is a much more well rounded car and performs better overall.

Very few Laguna Seca Boss 302s were made and the '13 looks better than the '12 and looks very good in black with the silver stripes. I expect the Boss LS to depreciate slower than any of the current musclecars, GT500 and ZL1 included.
