I'm keeping my 5th Gen for personal reasons, but even if I had no attachment to the car, I'm just not a fan of the "6th Gen" look. I don't like the lack of a physical lever for the emergency brake and I absolutely hate that rear bumper.

That being said, a lot of the tech in the car is very appealing, and perhaps in 2017 when my current car is paid off, I'll consider one. Body kits will be available by then and I can always change the bumper if I like one...

If I have to be real honest about it right now though, I'd sooner buy a Stingray or an SRT8 Charger...

My goal is to own one from every generation. I have a C5 so only 5 more to go - lol. From what I've seen, I really think they nailed it. I could see myself getting out of my 2013 2SS 1LE and into a new version for sure. Two kids in college will make it tough to own both so....

The emergency brake isn't a big deal to me, but when I saw the Gen6 in person today, the rear bumper, especially the black piece at the bottom kinda threw me. I don't understand why there is a indent with reflectors right about the pipes. Makes no sense.

I like the Six but... people are thinking this thing is going to be a super car with the number they are throwing out there. I waiting on the specs. THE REAL SPECS... but my ZL1 is staying for sure. I have the mag-ride, 6 pot Brembos, a near bullet proof rear, ohh and a supercharger. So no SS for me... but the new Z car maybe, or I might jump ship to the Corvette.

I want to keep my 2012 v6 and wait for the 50th anniversary v8. So I'm in the cake and eat it too group.

I bought my car to keep for a long time! I enjoy it as much today as when I got the car a little over a year ago! I am very glad to be part of the 5th Gen!

I'm not in either camp. The release of an updated model isn't reason in itself for me to go out and buy a new car, so I'll continue driving my 5th gen until it's time to look at something newer and with lower miles. I like my 5th gen, and I like the 6th gen too.

I'm keeping my 5th gen as I'm very happy with it and I only have 12k miles. The 6th gen is a bit smaller but over all not a huge change at least from what I've seen. The new LT1 v8 is very appealing as well as the new interior. I think GM has been pretty smart allowing more optioins to be added to different levels. I think it will be a big seller!

I'm sorry but the 6th gen looks like a Corvette and a Camaro had sex and it's the evil spawn of a 5th gen Camaro!!! Will be keeping my 2013 LS thank you, then when I want to upgrade maybe find a nice V8 5th gen I can buy... The new front end is ugly as hell, the interior leaves a lot to be desired so I'll pass!!!

I like my 5th Gen because it's all muscle-retro and it will become a classic. The 6th Gen is a fantastic sports car which will appeal to a much broader spectrum of buyers. Can't say for sure how I will feel when I see the sports car in person, but for now, I am sticking with the muscle car.

The Gen5 were introduced as a retro inspired throwback muscle car and they were an absolute hit from Day 1. It had clean, deliberate lines, and a mean face that will stand the test of time. The Gen6, to me, screams like a car developed in the middle of the hyper-aerodynamic era, that will look far, far more dated than the Gen5 will in the future when we're into the 7th and 8th generations. The Gen5 can stand shoulder to shoulder with the 1st Gen... Not sure the Gen6 can say the same.
Well said and I agree.

I will be keeping my gen 5 weekend warrior for sure. Almost paid off, rather mod my gen 5 to my liking then buy a gen 6 and be stuck with many more years of car payment. Like stated above I'm not really into the whole genesis/frs look, no dought the car is nice and more advance but it'll never outshine the gen 5.

I'll be keeping my 5th Gen for as long as I can. It's been paid off for a while and I'm not done wasting money on her yet.
