Camaro numbers in the UK
What's your guess at how many 5th Gen Camaros there are in the UK. It's obviously gonna increase with the UK specs coming in but would love to know the answer.

There are 6 US models owned by US members stationed in my area, 3 SSs and 3 LTs. I've seen 3 or 4 out at Lakenheath / Mildenhall, probably double or triple that amount. I have yet to see another one driving out and about.

Back in April this year I was speaking to GM and the marketing chap there said excluding imports which they cannot track ... about 72, so maybe with imports 100-+.
They only way would be to ask DVLC #unlikely ... but I am trying with our website, twitter and FaceBook in no budget :-O I have tried networking to many of the dealers and custom garages but its like pulling teeth... as they are all competitive with their client base. |

Presumably that's 72 that they have or are shipping so will at some point make it onto our roads. I would have made a wild and uneducated guess at 50 to 100 ! Quite an elite group then - not by Enzo or Veyron standards but not costing £1m to join

I think he mean't overall since 2009, not sure, I did not think it was 72 waiting at the Docks to sell 'now' (April 2012).
Best we can all do is spread the work across all our social media channels on and off line :-) |
