Thank God for Scott!
There's been so many concept drawings new and old circulating lately and a lot of them have 2nd gen Camaro themes (which in theory I don't mind) but dear Lord are some of them Fugly! Thankfully they are mostly exercises in design and not actual concepts. I know the future is safe with Scott and the rest of the Camaro Team and the 12 disciples looking out for us.
So far the only concept drawings I've seen as of late that made me get excited were these. Probably because I grew up with the 3rd gens. It's not perfect, but I like where it's heading.

I dig it. Not a big fan of the back end but the rest looks killer.

Yeah I also have an odd love affair with the 3rd Gen. In honesty its not the best looking vehicle, sort of plain but I grew up with them, working on them riding in them, etc. heard Led Zeppelin for the first time in one, life changing experience that was.
If the 6th gen takes styling cues from the 3rd, count me in

Still my favorite concept drawing so far. To me it doesn't look like an overdramatic concept it looks like it could make production just the way it is.

It has to be the hardest job in the world to come out in front of an audience and say "THIS (what ever it ends up as) is the new Camaro" So many passionate fans. Impossible to please everyone. As long as the make me happy. Ya hear that Scott!!!

Imagine the pressure?! The 5th Gen was instantly iconic and is so recognizable now.

I wonder why they're getting ready to change the body style so quick? We're in what, the 4th year of the 5th gen now? Seems like they wouldn't unveil these until 2014-2015..

(I can't even draw a stick figure!) We have many talented Designers and Tom Peters is overseeing future product plans......and that's a good thing! Meanwhile: anything you see that's supposedly a 6th gen? It's not.

It's just nice to know that there is a large group of passionate people (yourself included) that is helping to guide those that are designing the future of Camaro. Like Allstate the Camaro's in good hands.

Wait...What? You mean that something said on the internet is NOT the absolute truth and gospel? I'm sorry...I need a moment.....Everything I thought was true and good is now in question. My life will never be the same from this day forward........
