Matty ice, my 1le is black. Not exactly sure what you mean by oc. I don't regret cat less yet, my thought is I will worry bout it when the time comes. In the mean time enjoy.

I am looking at purchasing headers ( I know this thread is not about this) was wondering if 1 7/8 or 2" with 3" all the way to the tail. Even on a NA (naturally aspirated) seems there are some gains there. Reason I ask here is to find out where your or the fellow posters are going. I want ARH although Kooks seem a little less expensive... anyway.

I daily drive mine and I can't decide if I want to go cat less, worried about gas/exhaust smell and loudness. Would like to hear it in person before I purchase, figured if you were the 1le I see in OC it doesn't seem that loud driving normal. |

1LE NPP is 2.5" diameter and Z/28 NPP is 2.75", for reference.

Ive done a bit of research and Piston to valve clearance doesnt seem to be a problem. Ive seen some stories of lifter failure due to large cams, I am getting hardened pushrods, and new springs, would hardened lifters be a good investment at this time? |
