Navigation issues

Hello my My Link in my 14 ZL1 shows I am in Flint Michigan, called GM and they said take it to the dealer and they will just download new software to make it work.

Took it to dealer today and they have never heard of the issue and want to charge me $139 and say that will reprogram the radio.

I bought the car used and purchased an extended warranty

Tire of getting the run around on this issue

Have others had this issue?

Thanks

Go in to your settings and set your home location to where the car now lives

My dealer ordered a new OnStar module today for my 15 2SS/1LE.
It was doing the same thing. Car thought is was at the GM tech center in Michigan..
They will call when the part comes in and I will update the results.

Update 9/29/17 - the OnStar module fixed it.
