I owned an '07 MX5 for five years, and loved it. Great, reliable fun car for the money. But definitely better for a second car than a primary, not something you want to take a 3-hour roadtrip in. Traded it in on my 2011 RS, and I love it even more. Fits my lifestyle better (I can get golf clubs in the trunk) and is much more comfortable. But just like this current Camaro, when I saw it sitting on the lot I knew it was supposed to be mine.

And you would be absolutely wrong. I've seen more girls in Camaros than Miatas.

It situational i guess because it seems where I am from only high school and college girls drive those so ya I'm actually not completely wrong. I guess your part of the world Miatas are cool lol it just seems so generic idk. I think i get that stereotype from some of those drifter/tuner wanna-be cool dudes in Miatas with a coffee can exhaust and gold spray painted rims and a dozen JDM stickers on it lmao 👌if drive Miatas bro your prerogative!

Brother, we're both in Texas. I'm on a Miata forum that abhors ricers and "stanced" cars and many of the members are from Texas.

And generic? Sheesh, your bias is showing.

I'm starting to see them on the roads now... Definitely an improvement over the last gen. But i prefer the frs/brz; i'm a bit biased.

Just throwing it out there if you want an idea of the type of person who drivers a Miata....I've seen probably 100s of Miatas over the years. Exactly zero had an automatic transmission.
