What are the main issues/problems with Camaros

Please forgive me if there has been a similar thread asking this but I was just curious as to what some of the common complaints and problems are with the Camaro??

The amount of threads on the forum is overwhelming so I was hoping you guys would be nice enough to put it in a nutshell for me...

Well I Love my camaro. I have very few complaints about it but my biggest would be the paint. For ,Amy it chips very easily which for me is a little bit of a problem as I am very OCD about my camaro. Another complaint I have is the amount of blind spots. Every car has them but to me the camaro has more than normal. But that is a very small problem because after a while you know they are there and it's if you have been driving forever. Really those two are the only ones I can think of.

Yeah I'm a perfectionist with paint so that may get to me, but I don't think any kind of paint is very resistant to chipping and such. God knows the front of my GTO has it's fair share of wounds...

Most "complaints" I've noticed aren't really major problems at all, just a matter of getting familiar with the car itself...take your time...read the owner's manual! lol

I would agree the biggest problem as a whole with the Camaro is the paint. Lots of chips on the front and around the gills. Other than that it is easy to do mods, joy to drive and overall great value for a muscle car.

Oil leak; rear main seal and/or oil pump.
2nd gear grind - Manual Tranny
no factory ABL on the dash
Catch Can (if installed) catching lots of oil - I have to empty mine every 500 mi

But...
I'm still planning on keeping this car to pass along to a grandchild.

Constantly wanting to clean it and worrying about dings... My biggest thing and more of confusion why no push start or touch sensitive locks. Although it would drive price higher.
