At how many years old do you call your 5th gen' Camaro an old car?
I bought my 2010 Camaro SS on 12/09/09, therefore it is coming up on 4 years old.
I still call mine a new car. How about you? |

My born on date was July 09 and only has 15000 miles on it. My 68 is the Old Camaro and the 2010 is definitely the new one.

I would say when it's a last decade model. Like in 2021, my 2010 will be an old Camaro.
Or possibly when the 6th gen comes out? By then 5th gen will be referred to as "the old body style" That probably lends some to being old. |

My Camaro is 4 years old also But GM gave me a free extended warranty up to 65,000 miles so 37,000 doesn't seem that bad

When you buy a car that's newer it then becomes the old car...

As long as I'm paying that car note, it's a "new" car to me.

Drive a new car off the lot and it's a "used car".
The following year and it's "last year's model". Stuff starts regularly breaking due to normal wear and tear and it's an "old car".

I think most cars old at about the 10 year mark. So my '12 Camaro is new, my '99 Blazer is old.

Midnighter........bought my Camaro 2SS/RS on the exact same day...12/09/09....currently 20230 miles.....still has the odor of a new car...cannot bring myself to label it as anything but a new car! Now my 68 SS/RS is an old car! Will be running the old car in the vintage car event ...."The Great Race 2014" just to prove it can still hang!

My most recent car purchase is my "new" car. Others are my "old" cars.
My Camaro is still my new car. My Corvette and Cavalier are my old cars. We just bought a 2014 Passat TDI for my wife about a week ago and it's her new car. |
