Some of the cars may have been cut open (jaws of life) to extract injured occupants.

Years back I was involved in a law suit where the Insurance company refused to pay for a damaged vehicle as the local EMS/Fire Dept had unnecessarily cut it apart with their jaws of life. A situation I have seen several more times over the years.

EMS doesn't give a hoot about the car nor should they. The insurance companies need to shut up and pay.
