The ZL1 is going to be my serious speed track car. And my SS is going to be my show car. I already have the GM GFX kit. And I'm currently trying to do a sound system and send the SS to some place called TOPO Kustoms in California for a wide body kit. But I'm in Chicago. So you can see how that would be a pain. |

Ooops. Butt hurt much?! Sorry. I'd be butt hurt too if I had a V6 with a knockoff ZL1 front end. I came here for suggestions on mods and showed the people the income I had to work with. If that for some reason got a sour taste in your mouth, than I'm sorry. So unless the next thing you type isn't mods that I could do, than peace out!

assuming your car is stock?
TSP 2" headers = $500 +$250 install Squash Fuel Pump = $600 + install ID850 Injectors = $850 ECS supercharger kit = on sale right now $5500 +$500-$800 install ECS Devil blower cam kit = $2000 installed , maybe less Nick williams 102 = $500 Mcleod RXT clutch = $1250 +$400 install Pedders/BMR subfram bushings = $350 + $250 install Pedders/BMR trailing/Toe arms = $350 + $200 install (you can install, really easy) Pedders/BMR differential bushings = $150 Drag radials = $675 Barton shifter = $250 this is a good start and puts you right around $14k depending on your installer. Your installer may cut you better installation deals for doing it all at once. this should net you around 700-800 HP depending on boost , etc. But be careful on pushing your stock bottom end. there are numerous items not included; Rear end upgrade at that power level (could remove the cam and include this or wait until you snap an axle and then do it Meth Kit Coilovers sway bars ( drag setup or road race setup?) wheels? 418 short block ($4500-$5000) good idea if you want to up boost Heads ( stock ls3 heads flow pretty well out of the box, arent worth the cost in a blower setup) gears etc. etc. im sure I forgot something! Start with wider wheels and tires and do your suspension. Cold air intake, headers, gears, cam and some type of forced induction.
