will a 1le really make you pee your pants? i can't imagine it's worth losing alot on a used car, they don't care if you have not made the 1st payment or not. to them, it's used now

My guess is as soon as you drove it off the lot you lost 5-7k assuming you didn't rollover any previous negative equity if you traded....I financed 3k over retail of Camaro because I traded my Mustang after 2 months....

Not worth it, pretty soon the 2016 will be out and the 1le will be outdated..keep your ss and enjoy it unless you cant stand not having it (the 1le). I have learned the hard way too many times with cars...It's an addiction.

You could also find a very low mile 1LE from a dealer that has also depreciated and trade it in. This will minimize your loss. Don't forget the 13' 1LE's, they are just as good and look better too...

It is more money to "build" a 1LE from your car for sure, but you still have a great car without being a true 1LE. Put the basic mods on (LT's, intake and tune) and enjoy.

If you get tired of the handling, you can always add this. Not a bad price for the kit.

I traded my '14 2SS/RS for a '14 2SS/RS/1LE - yes it cost more than if I had done it right the first time , but I am extremely happy with my decision to trade up and am very happy I did not just try to upgrade with 1LE parts

If you can afford the hit, trade it in. Nothing in life sucks more than not getting what you want...

And as others have said, unless you plan on tracking your car a lot it probably wouldn't be worth taking the loss. If it's a daily driver, you also may get tired of the stiffer and somewhat rougher ride of the 1LE.

If you're still undecided, I wouldn't spend $4K on mods if I were you because you know you won't get near that much out of them if you end up trading anyway.

I did plasti dip my wheels, looking around to get them powder coated or buy ZL1 replicas. $$$

Also suspension package I could buy $$$

The thing that irritates me the most is doing all that, my numbers won't match that of a true 1LE Camaro. So good buy resale in the future.

I did months of research and am so ashamed I was beaten down by wanting a few more tech options vs performance oriented package.

I caught myself doing that with my previous 2SS. Wish that package was out back in 2010. Those wheels are sick.
