ACS T2 ports with Injen long tube CAI

Has anyone done this? My guy looked at my ports and said they would stick out into the area where my CAI is and rub. Just curious, as if I need to I'll go with a CAI instead though I love my Injen. I've had the ports sitting for two years and really want to put them in but don't want to cut my bumper to find out they won't work with my current system. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Jenn

Are we talking about an engine bay or something entirely different?

Maybe if we had pictures....

even if it didnt rub, would it put the port directly infront fo the filter element? wouldnt think that would good if you had to drive in rain (even with a check valve?)...i could be wrong though...

I have the T2 ports, and a K & N CAI. mine does not reach down that far into the fender. But it would have to go almost all the way down to be effected. If it did, you would be getting some incredible amount of air to it.

LOL! Yes, there definitely would be concern of getting an engine full of water if it rained heavily. Good call. So CAI it is. Yay!!! Boo for pocketbook hinges being rusted shut.
