edit: sorry....closer to 2 hours....
Thanks, trying to figure out if I can make it. Sounds like a great week.

How about seeing if they would throw the 'Camaro Group' a conference room where we can meet.
We can all do a meet and greet wednesday night...with fancy name tags on our shirts.
We can also use it to meet beforehand to organize to head out to different events.

Just a thought

We are staying at the Ramada for one night then heading to Detroit. I used. www.roomkey.com for a good estimate of hotels on the area. They are the better hotels. Google maps work too but I like room key better..
We are Staying about 11 miles from the event on Friday.

Which one night will you be at the Ramada? Wednesday?

I'm thinking cars & coffee in downtown Detroit by 7:30a would be a hard sell to do Friday morning if staying in Lansing Thursday night. You'd have to leave by 6a and be getting out of bed no later than about 5:30a. I'm thinking I'm better off in Lansing Wednesday night, then head over to, or near, Detroit Thursday evening/night, after the festivities in Lansing are done.

My only real question left I guess is how late do things go for the Woodward cruise itself on Saturday and would you reasonably miss anything if you headed out in the late evening like 6 or 7p? Is it essentially just cruising up and down Woodward and parking at the corral, rather than any particular scheduled events? I suppose this question may be more suited for the Woodward thread itself but it's hotel-related so hopefully ok for here.

Cars and coffee begins at 7:30 but the cruise part is scheduled for 9:45.
If you made it by 8:30 or so you should be fine. There is parking for 500 cars....don't think it will be full an hour after it starts.

If your asking when a bunch of motorheads partying on Saturday night will end...... I would say very late.
I am not sure if GM has anything specific planned for Saturday yet. Has that info been released.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is the largest car show in the world.

Woodward will start getting crazy Wed or Thurs night as people come into town, these are the best nights to cruises. Friday night it gets packed and Saturday is insane.

Saturday the Cruise starts at 9 am. Plan on spending the whole day there.

I have spent 10-12 hrs at the Dream Cruise before and didn't come close to seeing everything.

If this is your first time your in for a treat.

This is from 2014...

Found availability in Farmington Hills at the Fairfield. Around $100 a night but the wife had enough marriott points to get three nights free!

Finally got around to actually booking a room. I'm at the Ramada for Wednesday night. Haven't booked a Detroit room for Thurs/Fri yet but that's next. I'm not sure I can justify staying in Detroit three nights plus Lansing. I mean, I'm willing to spend some coin on this trip but I have limits. Gotta account for gas, food, and swag too. We'll see.
