Narrowed it down to two head units-Kenwood DNX-9960 & Pioneer Avic Z120BT-Which one?

Hello everyone

Like I said I have pretty much decided that it is down to the Kenwood DNX-9960 and Pioneer Avic Z120BT as the unit I will purchase. I see those are some of the more popular units some of y'all have so I was wondering whicn one should I go with? What are some pros/cons of each? What components would I need with either one (iPod cable, steering wheel adapter, etc.)?

I also saw a Kenwood DNX-9140 and a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD. Anyone know about those too?

Thanks a lot everyone!

DO NOT BUY THE PIONEER, GO KENWOOD. i have done an install with both and let me tell you the kenwood destroys the pioneer in everything, i didnt need to open the manuel to set it up the pioneer i couldnt figure out for crap, i loved the kenwood every step of the way deff go with that. plus how can you beat garmin based navigation

Be careful and check.

I have heard you will need to install your stock radio in trunk or you will loose system functions in your car, they are tied together.

I have had 2 pioneers they are ok but I will never buy another one. Main reason they have a pico fuse that inside of the radio and almost impossible to get to unlike most other radios that have the fuse on the shell of the radio.

Im not into those double din all in one units but the Kenwood is the best one hands down in terms of Nav interface by Garmin, parot Bluetooth and an excellent pre amp out voltage plus a nice linear DA Transport section for sound.

I was going to buy this but I didnt like the Metra kit and I took on the challenge of a single din and I never looked back.

We only use Kenwood. easiest to use and operate and least amount of failures or problems.

What did you end up doing then to keep the controls? In the trunk?

Edited: Oh yeah..Kenwood all the way.
