Speech recognition issues w/ Apple Car Play?
So I've noticed, at least in my car there seems to be a lot of Speech recognition issues using Apple Car Play to text via speech through the car microphone?
Has anyone else experienced this? I don't think it's a phone issue, I have a brand new iphone 6s that came loaded with iOS 9.3.1, I haven't upgraded to iOS 10 because I hear there is too many problems with it right now. I can talk into the phone just fine and it seems fine turning my spoken words to text, but as soon as I plug it into the car, I'd say it gets 50-60% of the words wrong, so texting handsfree while driving if necessary is useless. But when ever I make a phone call in the car everyone seems to be able to hear me just fine. So I would guess that this may be a carplay specific issue? |

Your mic must be defective. Mine was bad because of a bad windshield/body seal, but once that was repaired siri has been working perfectly.

I'd that that's a good theory, but I don't understand how people can her me talking to them just fine, and the only issue is texting by speech.
