It's a SEMA car with the Black Accent Package....but I believe KMP is correct it is actually one of the colors...Red Hot....I think....Very bright lights bring out the "hot" part of the red, I guess...lol....

It's sort of like my Inferno Orange Stripes on my summit white 2011....90% of the time they look tomato red...when the light is right they turn bright orange...lol...

No, it's red hot under regular lighting taken by a potato phone.

Here's what it looks like...

I don't think you'll see IOM on a 2016 but it would be great to see another Orange. Hugger Orange or similar would be cool too.

$2K to repaint a car???

Are you serious???

To do it right, you'd be looking at $10K at LEAST.

Take a look at this thread where Camaro5 member Heiney1 bought a brand new yellow 5th gen & had it repainted in Bumblebee Yellow.
Then tell me if you think that work only costs $2K.

BTW, the way Heiney1's car was repainted is really the only way to do it correctly.
And technically, it wasn't even done right. They should have removed all the window reveal moldings and glass.

Orange is my color also, but the sixth gen is too good to wait on a color. Really surprised it's not offered, it's such an iconic color for the camaro. I like the hyper blue but the mosaic black done in the "black" package with orange accents/stripes could look incredible too.

I'm glad I got red hot, I love the color in the picture. It really looks orange, you can tell it's red on the shadowy parts of the car though.

I want the red brake calipers

I have some land in FL you might be interested in.

When I contacted a local place (they do work for the local Infiniti / Lexus dealerships) about repainting my wife's Lexus, dark paint over dark paint, including insides of sills / trunks / engine bay it was more on the order of $5-6k. This was about 3 years ago, maybe things have changed.
You beat me too it and that 's colour change as well for 2K.......................not.

HO!!! That looks...AWESOME. Best looking 6th Gen to date, wow, especially with the tinted tail lights. Thank God GM fixed the tail lights somewhat, major improvement over 2014/2015. This is the first image of the Gen 6 that has stopped me in my tracks - I think it'll really grow on me when the higher end models come out and the aftermarket comes out with a few cheap aesthetic solutions. They need some 10-12 spoke wheels and it'll look a lot better.

If that is red, that is really bad lighting because that looks as orange as any orange I've ever seen. I hope they bring IOM back in 2017...man I loved that color. The only other color choice for me would be black, and while I love black, it's so hard to keep clean. IOM with blacked out everything else solves that problem for me...

Still nice, but...not nearly as nice. Give me the potato.

I'll be waiting for Inferno Orange Metallic to make a return as well before going for the 6th generation. I really love what Chevy has done with this incarnation, but I can't part with my love of this orange beauty. Only another IOM could replace her.

I have seen Red hot on the new 16, and it can look a bit orange. Not close to IOM though.

Is there any chance they bring this color back to the Camaro? It has to be the absolute best automotive orange I have ever seen.

War Eagle!!!

It is part of the reason I am holding out until the 2017 models hoping some sort of orange makes a return. Would love to have an IOM vert. with the blue top and have blue velvet metallic rally stripes painted on.
