I've purchased and am currently installing the Nitrous outlet plate kit on my car. I bought the dual bottle mount with the bottle heater and plan on mounting it dead center of the trunk. I will be piggy backing off the stock fuel rail. I also bought a winmax window switch so I do not have to run a WOT switch. Splicing into the wires at the pedal for WOT and another Wire for RPM. The instruction tell you which wires to tap. From what I've read, you'll be able to support a 150 shot from the stock rail location. Don't quote me on that and I'm sure people will get on here and tell me I'm wrong, but I'm going to try it. I am also have aeroforce interceptors setup to cut the nitrous if fuel pressure drops on high and low side.

Depends on if your running pump gas or E85. On E85 with a ZL1 low pressure pump installed i have read guys going as high as a 150 shot. Id think 150 on pump gas is doable on the stock pump and stock motor but you will need to keep an eye on the low side pressure. Personally for the 190.00 I think the ZL1 low side pump is cheap insurance its setup from GM to supply the LT4 an additional 195hp worth of fuel over our LT1 from the factory.

I will be watching both low and high side fuel pressure with my gauges. I will be running pump gas, not E85. If I see the low side pump running out I will be upgrading the intank pump.

guy on 6th gen FB page claims he ran e85 on a 150 sot with stock in tank pump and pressure never went below 40.

He's on here too. I've asked him a few questions.

If it's the FB post I'm thinking of it was me who asked him what his low side was seeing. I just find it hard to believe the stock SS intank pump can support 550 wheel HP on E85. With nitrous the way I see it is the fuel system is divided on our cars. The HPFP will not need to provide any additional fuel all the additional HP fueling is on the Low side pump. Obviously you still want to provide the fuel the HPFP demands. HP and fuel have a constant ratio whether you run E85 or pump gas it's gonna take X amount of fuel to make 550 wheel on pump or X amount of fuel to make 550 wheel on E85 (approx 30% more than pump to get there) Nitrous, blower turbo it does not change the amount of fuel to make X wheel HP. . 550 wheel on E85 using the stock low side pump means there is a shit ton of overhead built into that pump. Even the ZL1 low side pump at 550 (that's basically where stock ZL1s dyno on pump) on E85 would be pushing about 30% more fuel than pump gas to make that (stock) power. Maybe the stock SS pump simply has ALOT more overhead than the LT4 low side pump has? Another figure I have seen different opinions on is low side pressure data and what's considered to be to low? 30psi, 40psi? My line of thought was for a nitrous setup 200 dollars for a ZL1 low pressure pump seems like cheap insurance.

It could be that his AFR allows him to get away with it. We know that guys running NA are getting away with E85 on stock fuel system making upwards of 550whp. However with FI the stock system taps out sooner because you have to run richer with boost and that requires more fuel demand.

Good point but NA requires a cam with the fuel lobe bump to go mid 500s.

Is that more so because it takes a cam hit 550? I don't think I have seen a stock cam LT1 come close to 550whp NA.
