Raise your hands if you KNEW the Z/28 was going to debut on 3/27/13 in New York, before 3/27/13.
[a relative handful] Guess how many inches of snow are going to fall in Buffalo before winter's end? |

I get what you are saying but if they are planning on revealing the 6th gen, why have they suddenly decided not to announce it like all the other cars they have revealed?

If it's going to be a 2016 camaro...
That means people should start receiving their cars fourth quarter of 2015... Which means production starts third quarter 2015... Which means ordering becomes available second quarter of 2015... Which means reveal should be first quarter 2015... Do I think its going to be the Detroit show, no. But where else does chevy like to reveal their vehicles? |

What other BIG reveals are supposed to take place in Detroit? If the field is too crowded, perhaps GM will wait until after the show to reveal more directly, as opposed to having fight for the spotlight.
Just me thinking out loud.

But, seriously, only the most inside of people know what the surprises are, and when they will bow in.

That is the craziest test mule I have ever seen. But why would there be a mid engine Corvette? The C7 just came out a year ago. This Zora is probably competition for the new Ford GT. Should be interesting to see. I still think it may be a 50/50 shot we will see the C6 Camaro in Detroit, it has to be soon if they plan to begin production this year. |

C8 has been in development for a while now. Suppliers were sourced a few months after C7 launched.

Fair enough but why not do the same for the CTS-V? It makes no sense to hype the CTS-V so early but not the Camaro and then say they don't want to over hype cars.
