Ice cubes will form in hot places before that. It is meant as a track car, so simplicity is the goal. They want a light weight great handling car. And MRC helps reduce track times.

That's the only thing I miss actually from my loaded Charger SCAT I recently traded for the 1LE is blind spot warning. If any car needs it...it's a Camaro.

yes it absolutely does, my gf has a 2011 synergy green rs, wow the blind spots are terrible and you can't see your front quarters at all, but that goes for every camaro, thank god chevy designed the new camaros with a shorter dash thats driver in mind, plus the gauge cluster is kickass too i seriously can't wait to pull the trigger on a white 1le 1ss, and slap a procharger on it. |

You should only be able to see through your rear window from your rear view mirror. If you can see your car in your SIDE view mirrors or behind you, they're not adjusted properly. http://www.caranddriver.com/features...id-blind-spots |

I would rather they offer a Sound insulation and rear seat delete etc. Call it the Demon option.

First I want to say that I'm still a few years from trading my ZL1 for another car. A 2SS 1LE would be very high on my list. I truly understand those that feel the 1LE should stay as a 1SS as a lightweight track car including Al O. The 1LE is great track car but realistically we really spend very little time on the track compared to just driving around. I would guess that very few of us spend more than 25% of our total mileage on a track. That would mean that 75% of our time or more is just spent driving the car. Why not enjoy it with a better stereo, better safety with side monitoring and better comfort with memory seats and sunroof. If you do not want the extra cost and weight, then you buy the 1SS 1LE. If you want the extra comfort and do not mind the extra cost and weight then the 2SS 1LE might be worth looking at. All I'm asking Chevy to do is give us the choice.

...which was a FAR cheaper package. The 6th gen 1LE package on an SS is twice as much. With all the bitching and complaining people do about cost, I doubt a 6th gen 2SS 1LE would outsell a 1SS 1LE. It probably would be the complete opposite as the 1SS 1LE has leather/suede, HUD and if you really want things like the disco lights, then can be ordered as a LPO. If I was spending over $50,000 on a Camaro, which a 2SS 1LE would most likely be, I would just buck up the rest and get a ZL1.
