Corvette Plant Shutting Down in June

Yep - this could make tours of the plant difficult, if not impossible.

We are working to determine if tours will still be possible during the shutdown.

The plant I work at shuts down the week of 4th of July. This year It's the last week of June too.

Well that's disappointing, I was looking forward to taking the tour.

I guess that will just leave more time for other things as I'm sure there is a ton to do around there.

Definitely a bummer. Hopefully they can do something for our group. They should just bring out the ZR1 and show it to us. Or let me borrow a Z06 for the track day.

When is the fest again. Its the 13-15 July. So why we worrying about the plant shutting down in June?

I did the museum plus the plant tour years ago. Great memories except they let a
pretty 20 year old gal start the new Vette we were following on the line for the
first time instead of me..... Bummer. (Kidding)

We went last time. We were lucky enough to be on the lunch hour tour where nothing happens.

I must have been on the same tour. They cranked back up about 3/4 thru the tour.
Still loved it. It was all I could do to not go to a Chevy dealer right then and buy one!
