I asked this elsewhere and got referred to here. My question is.... how many discounts will Chevy accept? With me, I can get the student discount but on top of that, what else could be applied? Costco, Chevy Cash Back, any other promotions? Or will it be only one and what one, if so, will be the greatest savings? Plus the reduction in price doesn't hurt the dealership any correct? So the dealership could take even more off the car?

Supplier, educator, student and Costco are all basically the same and not stackable. Private offers are stackable with all. GM card stackable with all. Farm Bureau just stackable with Costco. |

Farm Bureau
Also stacks with USAA and NFCU Car buying Programs. If you happen to bank with those two I believe you're in luck.

Employee and military discount are basically onethesame and aren't stackable.
However, the above is stackable, for me, with USAA and Costco where available. I then plan on using that final offer as my negotiating tool. |

I think military and supplier are the same rate, not employee?

Haven't looked on the regular site. Should be one of the first option choices by the top? Would not come up on a 2SS anyway, just 1SS.

Your dealer gave you bad info or you misunderstood them. Employee pricing is definitely lower/better than supplier pricing. Based on the post above, it looks like the military discount = supplier discount.

So yeah, like I thought...military is the same as supplier and educator.
Employee is much less obtainable. |

Perhaps a dealer can post on here with better info? I remember that when I bought my 2010 SS it was the same situation. Haha. |
