Never. The 5th generation was the first car I was absolutely crazy about. And I will own one before I die.

If anything I would end up trading mine in on a Z/28 once I have the ability to have two cars.
Actually who am I kidding I would daily the Z/28...

Jury is out for me until I see what the Vert looks like. And pricing is key. I got my 2012 1SS out the door for 36K. If they can keep the comparable car under 40K I may be in the market to trade up. Otherwise I would consider a T4 Coupe for a DD

Undecided on the 6 yet, probably will remain that way until I see one in person.
And honestly I've put way to much money, time, and effort into my 5th gen to consider moving on. at least until a Z model is released, until then mine is faster, stronger, and better anyway, because of the mods I've done to it. I know I could mod out a 6 also, but the work is already done to mine now...

I have a check for deposit in holding and on the call list at my local dealer for when the Gen6 SS's start rolling in. We are keeping my current 5th as well. The wife wants it ;-)

I only liked the first gens and had one Camaro before my 2013, a '69 Z/28 over 35 years ago. This was the only Camaro I really liked until I saw the 2010 and all the styling cues derived and incorporated from the 1st gens, including the gills and the lines of the '69. I had to have one. I personally hate all the Camaros from 1974 to 2002 along with most American cars during that time. I have no interest in the 6th. I grew up in the muscle car era and my first car at 17 during the gas crisis of 1973-74 was a Boss 429. My first and only Ford.

As mentioned, I feel like I love mine more now that the 6th Gen is revealed.
It feels like there will never be another car like ours again. Its like you're dating a supermodel, and another super model is flirting with ya. But then you realize you've done so much work in order to make your supermodel perfect, including getting to know her and she's gotten to know you and your patterns, and still loves you like you love her... you're already dating a supermodel that's to your liking. You're not bored with your supermodel so why trade, eh? I'm keeping my supermodel... and love her even more for being who and what she is. |

I will be taking advantage of the upcoming 6th Camaro to grab a 5th Gen SS for between $20-$30k at the beginning of 2016.
