I tried to judge based on the dash support picture they showed and compared it to what I could find for the C7 and I don't think it'll have that same kind of driver focused / cockpit design.

Best picture I could find of the dash support. It looks like it has a curve. I, for the life of me, couldn't find a straight on picture of the C7 dash support. Maybe someone else can find a better picture.

Compared to the 6th gen dash support, which just looks straight, and similar to the new ATS dash

But, we won't know for sure until they show us the interior!

I had a dream last night that I got to see the interior... And it was red. Thinner centre console, and LOTS OF RED! lol

That curve in the dash directly in front the driver doesn't really have anything to do with making it driver focused. It's the angle of the center stack that does. From that pic doesn't look like the C7 frame was angled in the center stack. So all depends on what they wanted to do, angle it like the C7 or stay conventional like the ATS. To me the Camaro has more reason to be driver centered since the ATS is more luxury focused (i.e. does your passenger need to look/control the center stack).

I would prefer the cockpit style, since my current car has it. My boss has an ATS, and I can't say that I dislike that interior layout either.

I would certainly PREFER a cockpit style, but owning an ATS, I wouldnt complain if it were similar to that, either.
