Want to get my wheels powder coated, only problem is I dont have a spare set to throw on there while they are getting done. Is it bad for the vehicle to put it up on jack stands for a few days?

Not as long as you use the proper jack points. Brakes are the subject of the following thread, but there is some pertinent info on raising the car and using jack stands:
