Don't give 2 craps about whether they are going of offer a 4 or 6 no matter what the HP or MPG's are as long as you can still get it in an 8.

Just because they could theoretically offer an option for a 4 cylinder doesn't mean you still can't get a v6 or a v8.....

Yes ... but just because they could theoretically offer an option for a 4 cylinder doesn't mean its a good idea or that it will be welcomed by enthusiasts

forget the 6th gen, why are we not talking about the 7th gen, my wife's brother's cousin's girlfriend's girlfriend knows a guy who is the room mate of a chevy janitor and he said the 7th gen WILL have a turbine engine bit only in the ZM-82 model, of which there will be only 963 made, i know it doesnt come out untill june of 2021 but i am getting my pre-order in now, my dealer said he can lock in pricing on it for me if i put down a non refundable deposit tomorrow, i guess we can expect to start seeing ZM-82 parts becoming available in the computer some time in 2017 but it will only be the lube oil pump and fuel aerator, and maybe the mauve colored N1 de-iceing system

For those who don't think smaller displacement engines can be fun, I give you this :http://www.carfolio.com/specificatio...ar/?car=192786. I love the looks of "muscle" cars, but there is no doubt in a point to point road race, a car like the Focus RS would blow a Camaro, or Mustang into the weeds.

You're absolutely right. The car you mention has similar specs to a Mazda Speed3 and other high performance turbo 4's. The Speed3 with a few mods was a lot of fun. I might still have it if I didn't decide I wanted a convertible a couple years ago. The only thing I didn't like was front wheel drive. Spinning the front tires at a light was sort of fun and real easy but, as an old guy, I found it strange on corners.

V6? Maybe. V8? My money goes on the pony cars.

I'm a teen and I wanted to have the v6. V8 would've been too much on my pocket and realistically speaking, I never am going to need that much power... even if it is nice to have.

Exactly what I think, 312 hp is more then enough. But saying they will go for a 4 banger is different, I think that people will avoid it or that the price for a turbo 4 will cost more then a N/A v6
