Just did mine a few weeks ago. overall not that bad. Looks like you almost cut right through the hard heater line.

Yea I felt like a total idiot, those hoses felt pretty fragile so didn't want to brute force it and didn't have the tools so had to cut, I thought a mostly dull saws all blade wrapped in pepaer towel so could hold it would not be enough to cut the metal, but guess I was wrong, used a box cutter for the other one which was also not fun but it is what it is.

Just got a new windshield installed in place of the old sand blasted chipped one. A new windshield is so glorious on that first drive after install!

Yeah!

After looking at my car for awhile on Sunday (easier than actually doing something) i'm about ninety percent ready to pull the trigger on a heritage grille.
Ten percent of me knows I'm sooo gonna get a huge bone job on those upper fender bolts tho.
Absolutely fearful of those being air gun gorilla torqued.

Oh no buddy it's real easy. I take the front tires off and pull the inner fender liner then it's cake with a long extension and a piece of tape on the end of it.

i agree with Joe on this one. It's actually not that bad. I get mine with a 1/4 drive on a swivel and an extension. If you take the wheel and the liner down, it would be 100% easier.

Yep, not bad as you think. There are tapered alignment pins & the bolt holes line back up perfect on reassembly.

Definitely do it! I don’t even completely pull the inner fenders or take the tires off and can have it done in an hour or so. The bolts on each side up in the fender tips are the worst part of it, but they aren’t super tight or tough to get too.

Slap a splitter on it while you’ve got the bumper off…

Also, I did the cheap manifold thing. It lasted me a year. I'm going to buy a nice one next time. Something that actually has purge valves built in would be great.

Yep, I made sure to but a little Pag oil on all my seals. Sucks that my manifold gauge set kicked the bucket. I've had this nice Mastercool unit for several years now but something has gone wonky inside. I was going to go to HF to get one of their sets to get the job done, but I had to bring the car into the body shop to fix my rear bumper cover after someone backed into me. Won't have the car for a bit so, no need to rush and get the cheap tool. I've ordered a nice new Yellow Jacket unit and it should be here and ready to go when the car gets out of the shop.
