And since my order did not get picked up and won't until February, I hope , I feel that I'm not as important as a sale today because I have yet to hear from the sales person since I sent him a text last Wednesday to see if I got picked up. He had told me thar it would be on Tuesday the 27th. I don't think he wanted to tell me either that they did not get an allocation at all or they gave mine to someone else. This has been very disappointing to me since they are a sponsor for our car club.
Sounds like your dealership has allocation for you BUT what they don't know is when they will receive it during the Dedicated Ordering cycle listed below. Could be any one of those dates below. Except of course dec. 22. Too bad they can't just find out which date they have the allocation so they can pass this information on to you.................

Dec 22 / Ended

Feb 9

Mar 9

Apr 6

This will include M6 & A10 Allocation.

Looks like Feb. 9 will be bigger than any of us expected. PLUS they will open up for more zl1s to be built. I think it was a total of 89 cars they allowed for allocations for this dec. 27 first run of the dedicated ordering cycle............................................. ..........................................

There were 89 A10 coupes and 10 A10 convertibles that cycle.... no mention of M6 numbers.... so more ZL1 orders were picked up than 99 I would think....

Follow up for Becky on the order process

Hi Becky. Thank you for updated order status.

Since I now know that I am still 1100 status, based on the quoted information below, does that mean that the earliest the order could be picked up is Feb 09?

Thank you,

Big50

My understanding is that he would be able to place the order during that time frame as the dedicated ordering cycle would not end until Tuesday Dec. 27th. Thus far I have not hear anything about being elevated to 2000.
My question is can the order still be elevated to 2000 in the weeks before the Feb 09 DOC, since it was placed within the previous DOC? I understand this assumes that the dealer has a valid allocation.

Thank you for all of your help.

Yes, but according to Becky my dealer should have known by the 22nd and should had told me that it wasn't going to be picked up. To this day no word at all. Like I said there was only one order in front of me and it was picked up right away which moved me to the top. I don't know why the sales person couldn't just be honest and let me know what was going on. A little more communication would be much appreciated. Instead I feel like my order is less important than a sale today. I guess it won't matter to them until February now. I just might search around in a few weeks.

Would this apply to everyone currently at 1100 status?
Thanks!

I think at the most dealers got 1 A10 allocation if any at all for the last ordering cycle. A M6 ZL1 allocation was more readily available, but still far and few.

Right. When I called the dealer I placed my order with, they told me they had 1 allocation and that it had to be an auto, which was perfect for me. They had a manual on the lot from a much earlier ordering cycle.

How can you be 2000 status on 12/26
And 3000 status on 12/27

Thought everything was freezed from 12/22 until 02/09 ????

For myself: 1100 12/28 waiting February ....
For a 17 red hot, A10, nav, PDR, carbon hood.

Once you are at 2000 you're past the freeze. When your order is placed against an allocation and picked up by GM it becomes 2000 and begins to move toward production.

Everyone now at 1100 will not move until the next cycle on Feb 9th there they hope to get an allocation for their order to be placed against.
