That's why there is the aftermarket, you don't like the wheels? Buy new ones.
I agree! I love those wheels in black or silver!

Wheels are cosmetic and subjective. Cool how they're building excitement. You don't think they know what they're doing by teasing a pic of wheels and tires without the details? They know...

Look very similar to the older ZL1 wheels but with the center of the spokes hollowed out...

Has anyone compares the picture of the brakes to the ATS-V or CTS-V? Could be similar.

Nothing wrong with how these look...I just hope they are actually lighter weight and not cast using the cheapest method...(Like all the other stock wheels in previous years)....If they are lighter weight and stronger, all good for weight and the track...

It's not my "opinion". I took the time to post what I did to support this.
When has anyone ever said the C6 ZO6, AMG, or 458 Italia wheel was "just OK" ??? Ok, dude.

There is NOTHING "just OK" about a split spoke 5-STAR rim:

CCW 505a

Although I agree that the split 5-Star wheel is a timeless sport wheel, I don't think it is a fair comparison to use CCW's against OEM wheels lol. CCW's are in a league of their own (in my eyes at least lol).

But then again this is yet another opinion so do not mind me. Carry on

The rotors are definitely bigger though, but the PAD surface area looks to be the same.

On my Chevelle
They look to be the same calipers currently used on some XTS and ATS options. The rotors look close the the size of the XTS, the ATS rotors are smaller. XTS rotors look to be ~350mm (~13.779"), ATS Brembo rotors are ~321mm (~12.679"). They are definitely not the ATS rotors.

I really hope they offer these with a painted black finish. Look at the ZL1/1LE and C7 Z51 black wheels; no need to go aftermarket!

I am fully aware that GM traditionally uses some sort of 5 spoke (split or not) on their sports cars.

But I'm not going to get into a dumb argument over this. But this IS your opinion. Your quote above " When has anyone ever said the C6 ZO6, AMG, or 458 Italia wheel was "just OK" ??? Ok, dude. " is an opinion.

You may think the 458 wheel is the best ever. I don't. end of story.

The 458 wheel would look out of place on a camaro.

Ah see I figured they would be on another model. Kind of odd how they are bigger calipers but not bigger pad surfaces, but could be for cooling?
