Anyone want to see Gen6 Seat Mounts/ Base Brackets? (Cobra Seat Retrofit)

I went down to the L.A. area to meet some Camaro6 members, talk cars, do some prep and research work on my future mods...

I had a chance to finally sit in a number of seats and found that not only was the seat I finally chose more supportive than the Misano's but also more COMFORTABLE.

COBRA SUZUKA PRO GT

https://www.subesports.com/cobra/suz...t-gt/cob-10050

Using the Pro-Fit System you can swap different thicknesses/ and densities of foam, and by getting the GT version for its extra 30 mm width... its easy for me to get out and in... and I can add thicker padding for track days....

I really felt IN the seat rather than ON top of it when I test fitted.... I can't stress how important it is to try and get yourself to a shop that has many different seats so you can see what works best for YOU....

on top of all that... the seats weigh even less than the Misanos, between 17-19lbs

Now in order to take advantage of a sale price, I am tempted to buy one before my car is delivered....

I am hoping someone on the forum might spare a few minutes to measure the dimensions of their seat area and compare it to the measurements of this seat.

If I can confirm this will fit no problem, I will pull the trigger shortly and will provide my car as a mule to get some Gen6 Camaro seat mounts designed and fabricated for our cars....

I know a shop that is interested in doing this... so the sooner the better for everyone!

I will most likely order straight from the U.K.
Ends up cheaper. Not sure how they come up with $800+ usd for a seat when its only £250-£300.
Priced out an OMP WRC. $810USD OR $1050 cdn.
I can get it shipped to my door in a few days for just under $800cdn.

heres my order

the point of concern is the seatbelt anchors... in order to keep the 3 points for street use... I was told I would have to get the runners modified....

seats ordered! Will pick them up in about a month....

So since you are deleting the seat airbags what are you doing about the airbag sensors? Are you going full cage now?

Ordered out of Ireland. Great pricing. And £45 to ship!!

edit: Found shop in Italy that ships for free on orders over 350 EURO. So you can Buy your Sparco at close to actual MSRP. About $350USD instead of the RIP Off fixed pricing by OMP America of $800USD

Recieved the Sparco I ordered out of Ireland. Shipped last Thursday and delivered yesterday. 6 days from across the ocean! Thats faster than buying locally.
Seat cost me $384CDN total. It is $425 USD or $625CDN locally. Saved over $300.
