Camaro wobbles down the road

About two weeks ago I spun out in the rain heading on the freeway going about 15 mph. My back end got out from under me and as I corrected it the back right rim hit a guard rail. It turns out my front left rim had cracked because it hit a pothole at the same time. I got a new rim and balanced it by a shop, but it still needs an alignment as the steering wheel is at a 45 degree turn in order for the car to go straight. Now I’ve ridden without an alignment before, and I am scheduled to get alignment within two days, but driving feels different. The car is pretty wobbly going down a straight road and any minor steering wheel movement results in me having to correct it immediately before I go into another lane. Imagine a drunk driver trying to stay between the lines. The back end feels to be trying to get ahead of the front, and service stabilitrek comes on after about a 10 minute drive. Any ideas on what could be the culprit? Maybe the alignment will fix all of this?

Depending on how hard you hit the rail, you may have damaged or bent the lower control arm.

Yup, don’t bother with the alignment until you find & replace what you bent.
