Heat can actually affect the battery more than the cold can, you live Arizona so the heat could be to blame. Bubbling and evaporation could have occurred but that is again an opinion.

I've had mine since Jan of 14. No issues yet. Maybe the heat or a light left on?

ORDERED THE CTEK MULTI 3300 56-158 . But I still think the battery is weak for it not to last a measley 10 days in a garage.

with your car being that new, I'd take it to dealer. They will likely give you a new battery and check to ensure there are no drains. My car sits in garage during winter for weeks without issues... I start it up a few times and don't use a maintainer.
you might have a dead cell. |

I had the same problem because of my rapid fire tail lights which draw power somewhat if your vehicle is left unstarted for an extended period of time. I just keep mine on a trickle charger since its not my daily driver. In your case since your vehicle is so new and still under warranty i would go get it all checked out.

Thats a great charger/tender I've got a couple of them. Just curious, was the battery full charged when you parked it 10 days ago? I mean had it been driven long enough to fully top off the battery? Many times people don't realize that driving short trips can be a cumulative drain on the battery. My wife's had to be charged every couple of months when she was working because her commute was half a mile. 2 starts every day with a a very short drive would drain it in a matter of weeks.

Have you made a call using OnStar recently? After your'e out of your car, keys are out and door is shut, look at the screen and see if the screen is off. Then see if your bluetooth is still connected by phone and make a call. If your car rings, you may have to reset the car by battery.
I had this happen once. I had bluetooth turned off, so my phone didnt auto connect. Went to make a call and onstar popped up. I immediatly hung up and connected by Bluetooth. But, started to notice when I was just outside of my garage or in the house close by...the car would ring. This lead to my battery almost going dead one time because it wouldnt actually shut the electronics down in the car. I fixed it by reset. It's a long shot...but maybe. |

yep, heat is what damages them, not the cold. you just don't notice it when it's warm and the car needs a lot less amps to turn over.
