I buy what I want.....when I want. I answer to know one in that regard.
Just one of the perks of a 6-figure income, no wife, and nearly grown children . KW

The workers at Hellion would lose their jobs, and their children would starve if I was so self-centered that I didn't buy their twin turbo kit. It is a moral responsibility, damn near a saint worthy act, that I purchase their product.

I can't. I'd rather be investing my money.

I divert $300/mo to a personal account. At first the wife didn't like the idea. Now I don't think she cares as I bought her a new ring for $1700, a maid service for Valentine's Day, and when I buy a part for my car it doesn't impact the family money. Win/win. |

I bought the car and plan to keep it instead of trading it in. So the money I save in not upgrading to a new car more than pays for any upgrades.
Edit - Although I still plan on buying a Jeep for a 2nd car. Ha ha! |
