Count me in for the team. Of course while my ZL1 is themed based on my love of zombie flicks, it is no where near as functional as what you are suggesting.
Don't forget a huge gas tank. It will be essential. |

True, you might want a stealth set of mufflers that you can switch in and out. A reverse mild to wild switch so to speak. Quiet when you want to be, loud and fast when you need to be.

I got an electric exhaust cut out installed, so I can switch from my stock to crazy loud pipes, so I kinda got that covered

Saw this at comic con. It was pretty cool.
If your seriously considering zombie proofing your car, stay away from a lift. Your car is RWD. If you wanted an off-road vehicle, you shoulda got a jeep. Zombie themes are cool on street cars too. Put some armor on it, a powerful wench, off road lights, caged windows, extra fuel tanks, and a basher on the front and rear of the car. Looking forward to seeing this happen, if your seriously considering it.

Yeah, a small lift for off road tires would be okay, but a low center of gravity would keep if from rolling. You don't need much height to clear curbs. You don't want a horde tipping it.

You may want to consider a snorkle like a range rover. It will keep you from bogging down in water.

how about a mortar tube rack on the back so you can pop up some flares to see what's around you.

plasti-dip makes industrial gallons you spray on with a booth paint sprayer, saw it on a skyline last weekend at the shop that did my vinyls and it looked great.. a true matte black.. the great thing is that you can remove it pretty easy. |
