Yeah, brand new from Chevy of Naperville. There's no way I had the only one... I think it's more likely that you just didn't know that (at least the '11's) had this strip functional and working across the passenger dash.

It'd be a dumb thing for me to lie about, bud.

Sounds like someone else had this in their car too. But some of these people apparently think we are making this up for some reason. LOL!

here's some of their great engineering on the 2010 camaro

- passenger seat designed to not be able to see over the dash
- 1-4 shift lock
- three tone paint color on white
- DRL that dont work as fog lights
- unpainted satellite fin
- rear spoiler that looks like a limp d.....k
- fuel door design right from the 50's
- front bowtie that requires a chainsaw to get off, which is no problem since everyone gets a new grill
- a mailslot which must of been designed after they visited a glory hole somewhere in detroit
- a 50lb garbage can muffler which not only shows up from the rear view, but is hard to get even the recycling places around here to dispose of.
- an air intake system that would choke a horse
- i could name 20 more but you get the point

Having said all this, we do need to thank the GM engineers and beancounters because they have fostered one the greatest aftermarket industries around!!!

Dude sell your Camaro and buy a Prius you obviously hate the car or yourself or both. You sound like you'd be happier in an Eco Friendly thoughtful pretty little car that is 100% asthetically appealing to you.

No you had the only one. Out of all of the members on this forum and all of the threads about ABL no one ever has claimed to have an ABL strip in the dash, so therefore you have a one of a kind.

'Cause our cars are identical in build, and mine doesn't have it...

A GM engineer told me that if I hit my hazards while accelerating it will kick in an additional 2 cylinders. Just have to put SS badges on my car for it to work.

Um, he lied to you. You have to also put at least three decals on the car, one of which being the GM Performance Plus decal-- it adds 50hp to the additional two cylinders and clears the CEL.

Oh that's the trick, I missed that part.

why would i sell my car? it is so much fun to play in the aftermarket and fix all the GM screw ups!!!!! that's what real designers and engineers do, fix the screw ups of the GM Tech grads. it's been that way since you could drag race every mile from 8 to 15 mile road and do a couple burnouts in the big boys parking lot.

going out a limb here but, im guessing you must have a degree in physchology (sp?) or either havent looked under the hood of your machine. just be careful, dont stick your head in there with the engine running
