Convertible Poll - 1.5 years later

Hi all, so we all know how polls looked over the first year of release for our new 5th gen camaro convertibles. It appeared to be a split decision with those having issues and those that did not. I'm curious to see where this stands now that the model has been out for 1.5 years and three model years of release.

1. I have no issues with my convertible top -- works and looks normal.
2. I have slight wear (wrinkles, light rub marks) but no mechanical issues.
3. I have moderate issues (permanent wear marks, wind noise, substantial wrinkles).
4. I've had serious issues (holes, broken bows, leaks) with my top and am working on getting it replaced.
5. I have had my top replaced due to significant issues above at least once.
6. I have had my Camaro convertible bought back under lemon law or warranty.

If this does not post as a poll, someone please feel free to assist. My dumb a** can't figure it out. Thanks.

For my first 2012 it would be #6.
On my second 2012 I would give it #2

Thanks Jason, I'd choose six in your case. But hey I wish you could vote twice. BTW, thanks for your leadership in all of this.

How long do you need to have owned your convertible before participating?

My car was built 2/14/12 and I bought it here in South Boston, VA 4/11/12, its the 45th Carbon Flash Metallic Convertible and it's my first convertible. NO problems with only 4,400 miles on it. Truely love the car and I hope to have some pictures of my RED Sport Bar on the car this week. Anyway I'm just learning that having a Fabric top takes some special care. 303 products work the best. You ask a good question. I thought about this as an endurance poll originally, but realize that problems appear throughout the builds, so I think the data is useful regardless of how long you've had the car. If it were possible to have segmented poll asking two questions so I could've sorted by year that would've been even better, but oh well

Thanks for the kind words. I am in this for the long haul or until I see the new Cuda'. I guess #6 is it then. Who knows what this car has in store for me. At least I know how to handle it this time around.

My 2011 2SS RS was purchased in April 2011 and have problems with #2 #3 but I am still trying to work with the dealer to find a cure (not a patch which they are suggesting) for the problems.
Will post my full detailed correspondence and reply's with the dealer in the near future if no action is forthcoming.
Thanks for the start of the of the forum waiting to see the results

I've had mine for 3 months and 5,500 miles with nothing but wrinkles and one issue with a piece of weather stripping. I have probably cycled the top 300 times and 95% of the miles have been top down. I guess if I voted right now I would pick 2. Build date was 9/11, so it went unsold for 9 months up north.

Build date 4/11. Purchase date 6/11. Completed TSB and replaced broken 5th bow and water management bag 4/12. So far so good. Went from #4 to #2, only minor wrinkles and original rub marks above driver and passenger windows are controlled. Fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone, keep the votes coming. If you don't have your build date or year in your profile, that info would be helpful in a post.

I have moderate issues but I am waiting for year 3 of my warranty to replace it. I have rub marks and wrinkles.

Bad decision? Or should I get it replaced now? I have all of the TSBs.
