if its vinyl wrap you obviously cant polish it. Ive never waxed vinyl either. If it gets damaged there are numerous shops who could remove the vinyl and re-wrap it for pretty cheap.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
I clean it nice...and then use Zaino detail spray on the whole car, including the wrap...it goes from "matte/satin" to a truer "satin".

Chemical Guys has a spray sealer that is made for wraps. It comes in an 8 oz spray bottle or a 32 oz bottle. I use it a lot so bought both the small bottle and the large bottle for reloading the small spray bottle. It is called Clear Seal Gloss Enhancer and Protectant. I have the non wrapped portion of the car coated with CQuartz so use Reload on that occasionally.

I recommend ceramic coating it. Ceramic Pro has a coating that is "matte" finished, doesn't change the look of the hood. Just no more fingerprints

Hope this helps, I highly recommend wrapping the hood for its protection, your ease of mind.
I'd also add that matte Suntek film we had installed produced a much deeper black than the gray look it came with, now this is subjective as to weather you'd like this or not, however I found this to be a nice touch!

xPel Stealth covered with CQuartz.

Really makes the matte film look nice, and a more "consistent" look.

Wow - emphasizes a "satin" appearance. Very nice!
