very impressed with the V6 Camaro such a quick car.

I've just about hit the 2500 km Mark and I've been hammering on this car pretty good. Have to say I'm an extremely impressed with this car especially holding the different gears 1st 2nd and 3rd gear are just ridiculous. Came from a 2002 LS1 6 speed manual Camaro and this car can run with it all day long no issue. Overall extremely happy with my purchase and GM needs to be commended on making a fantastic V6. It really did deserve it's Ward's 10 best engines award.

I agree. I have been xtremely happy with the performance. My last car was a Cadillac CTS with the 3.6 V6 w DI putting out 305 HP. Im amazed at what they continue to get out of these smaller engines. I grew up in the 1980's loving the IROCs. The 5.0's were putting out about 215 HP. Crazy.

I'm still in the break-in period on my V6 and haven't pushed it over 4000 RPM. I do love it though and the throttle response in the higher range is quite impressive. I do wish there was more low end torque, but that may have more to do with me babying it so far.

I agree it's pretty mind-blowing how far the V6 has come. I'm really not sure where they can go from here because these little engines are basically like little mini V8s and they're naturally aspired the only thing I can think of is Turbo or supercharger

NPP is causing me to burn more gas just because I love hearing the exhaust

+1. Got a compliment on the sound by a guy in a Tahoe when he caught up to me at a red light.

The V6 in my Impala sounded excellent ( same as the one in our Camaro just detuned). Great engine, and before I traded it in I had 78,000 miles with no issues.

Car rental agencies that rent Camaros rent V6's because they run on regular gas. My nephew showed up with one. Think about it- renting a car that runs 1/4 mile times in the 13's.

lol I completely agree. NPP is such a unique sound; like nothing else on the road. After a WOT pull, I've found myself laughing and shaking my head thinking "this car sounds so much better than it deserves too".

I've had if for a year now and I know I'll never get tired of hearing it. I love how the engine just comes to life after 4k, revs to the moon, and freaking screams when its up there.

Wait until you open it up! You'll have to come back here and tell us what you think.

I'm an SS owner now, but I really like the V6 cars a lot too. I'd be happy to be in one. I come from a modded 2010 V6/RS and I really enjoyed that car.
