Do you feel bad starting up your car sometimes?
Maybe I worded that incorrectly, but today I went to go pump gas, then right as I finish there was an elderly lady behind me just pulling up with a young child in the car... I was hoping they would go inside to go pay so I could start my car up and leave... but nope, she paid with a card at the pump.
So I had to sit there for a bit because I didn't want to scare her, I mean in no way am I trying to say that because she's elderly or something that I'm trying to discriminate, definitely not. For all I know she could've liked it. (Chances are no) But that wasn't the first time it's happened. There's been situations where I would sit there and wait for someone to pass, like someone going for a walk in my neighborhood with a stroller passing behind me right as I'm about to start my car... I just sit there and wait. Anyone else do the same? |

Yeah, I wait too. My girlfriend hates how everyone looks when I turn on my car, she always pretends like she's looking for something in her purse lol. She hates when I park right in front of convenience stores.

I look in my rearview mirror every time I get ready to turn the key and will wait if there is an elderly person or someone with a very small child. That being said I made a teenage girl drop her purse one time. I thought she would continue across the back of my bumper and I turned the key. I looked back up just as she jumped and dropped her bag. I don't know why she stopped but she was almost dead center between the pipes and maybe a foot off the bumper when they fired off.

I do. Everything is stock, but I go to work at 4:00am and don't want to wake the neighbors.

I have no problem with it. Master bedroom is adjacent to the garage so that way I can let my wife know it's time to roll out of the crib.

I'm cautious in the morning since I leave early for work, so I crank it with the garage door closed so not to disturb the neighbors although they love my car. But other than that I crank her up and roll out. I love seeing peoples heads turn when I crank it up!

Lol yes! I was getting into my car after finishing up at the gym and right when I started my car up a lady walks by and my exhaust scared the crap out of her and she jumped up and was pissed off. I felt really bad hahaha

I only try to be quite when the "police" are around...already got pulled over by a FHP saying my car was too loud...threatened to write me a ticket
 Most other people seem to like it as they are constantly pulling up next to me and saying that it sounds "awesome"!!!
