Yes ....i was picking up some stuff my wife bought at the store...i was parked at the font of the store .....i didnt see the 2 older ladies behind me walking up the sidewalk. When i started my car the one lady droppped her back. I went over..picked up her bag and carried it to the store and put it in a cart. She wasnt mad just shocked i was helping her.

With my 14 1LE, I would press the clutch and let the car roll out of the garage a little before starting it to try and keep from waking my children. My sons room is directly above the garage and my Wife wasn't pumped about me waking them right as I left everyday. She said the noise isn't what would wake him but the whole house shaking. Pulling out of the garage helped a little. I get up around 4:30-5:00 so it was pretty early each day....

The noise dislodged her spine? How loud is your car?!

Absolutely not. It's louder than most other cars on the road, but it's not like it's a funny car, or even an 18 wheeler.

Good Lord, no. I didn't even feel bad when I was starting my 462 powered V8 with 1 7/8" primary headers at 5 am on a residential street Mon-Fri.

I want to say I really appreciate your concern for others. I have a Harley with after market pipes but I purposely did not go overboard on how loud I made it as I didn't want to blow out some 6 year old kids ears at a stop light. Nothing wrong with being conscientious of others

I try not to be a jerk if I think it will startle some-one, but with that being said if you come up and bitch me out because you think my car is too loud we will have a problem. This is still the USA. If I want a loud exhaust I will have one.

Nope. Borla CAT back. It's loud, but I don't see why it would scare anyone....unless it back fires.

LOL that's hilarious. I used to live at house where a middle age guy had a older BMW 6 series. That car was LOUD on cold starts. It would wake me up every morning. But at the end of the day, we are all car enthusiast and I understand so I just leave him be. I chatted with him once and he was a great guy.

Late night and early morning, yes, out of respect for my neighbors. But I drive it in the summer mostly, so 6 or so months out of the year I have no worries. Honestly, I get nothing but smiles and thumbs up. Last summer, at a gas station, I had an older couple ask me if the husband can stand next to it and the wife could take a pic. They sent the pic to their grandkids and said "look at grandpa's cool new toy". Most people love the exhaust rumble too, part of the car's charecter
