I always thought this top tier stuff was a joke.I pay no attention to it. I just worry about cost, convenience the correct octane. Never had one issue with fuel from anywhere.

At 7' 275ish, they're aren't the most comfortable, but they aren't a Pontiac Solstice. (And no I'm not a troll saying some BS height/weight number.)

My cousin works at a refinery and he told me that the gas is all the same.

However, I'm sure there are companies that put their own additives in it. I hear about people complaining about certain brands of gas saying that they get knocking or pinging. IMO, it might be possible that they got bad gas or the octane that is pumped isn't as advertised.

I use Shell or Chevron for 91, but after doing the flex fuel kit I have been using E85 from 76 all the time. Lol I haven't filled up with 91 for a while.

Also, I personally only pump at a few select stations because they are VERY high traffic ones. That way I know that the gas isn't sitting for too long. There are a few stations around me that is a ghost town.

As for someone who use to Haul gas to the gas stations I use nothing but the best Premium gas from Shell. It's true gas is the same no matter what gas station you go to but the Additives in the gas is what makes the difference. I know Shell, Mobil, and BP uses high grade Additives. How do I know, it's simple I use to talk to the terminal operators and the lab technicans that make the the Additives. From personal exp, I would NOT use just any gas from any station. Here is why. When you pull into a gas station look at the environment around you if the station looks run down and the pumps are shitty or just doesn't look well kept then there is a very good chance that the tanks that the gas is stored in is just as bad which means you can get bad or dirty gas from the nozzle. Every gas station goes through an inspection from a Company that checks for leaks in the tanks and ground contamination the bigger gas stations or Corporate owned gas stations usually get inspected more often than not. Some stations are Franchise or owned by an individual person if the owner takes good care of the station usually he has a good tank system that is well taken care of. So choose your fueling stations wisely. Also it's a good idea to have a small gas can with you and pump some gas in it before filling your car this will help eliminate a possible CROSS DROP. A Cross drop is when a tanker driver accidently puts the wrong fuel into the wrong tank. For example if Diesel got into a Premium tank it contaminates the gas and messes up your engine. So IMO I would stay away from the less popular stations and go to the well kept Corporate or Franchise stations. [

As was said above I try to avoid the run down looking places no matter what the brand. I also avoid Texaco because around here their premium fuel is around $1.25 - $1.50 over the 87 octane. So for me that pretty much limits me to Chevron and Valero, not many other top tier brands to choose here.

Use Shell 93 or Exxon (most recent). I did put 91 with no ethanol a couple months ago at a price of 4$ a gallon....Needless to say I'll stick to the "reg" 93 octane.

91 octane from Chevron, sometimes Shell.

E85. In a test tube, to test the ethanol content to see if it's really E85.
In this case, it's E87/E88, so good to go!
