TH400 swap

Always looking to do something with my car I got caught up with the fever of swapping in a TH400 for my stock 6l90E. I don’t drag the car nor do any highway driving but it looks like it might be fun stoplight to stoplight. But besides that why would we Camaro owners want to make the swap as what we have by and large are pretty solid transmissions?

If you don't drag race it, you wouldn't want to swap to the 400. All of the advantages are in the launch and weight savings, so most people (not dedicated race cars) are better off with their 6L90.
