Chevy app cant remote start?

somehow, recently, i cant remotely start the camaro with my chevy app
it would show "sent" is pending and wont start the car, i can still unlock the car with the app tho

anybody know whats going on with Iphone?

Where is the car? If it's inside a parking garage or other building (even a home garage) or otherwise could have poor satellite "visibility" or cell coverage, it may not be reachable.

Also - do you have an active subscription with OnStar and have you used the system recently?

It’s maybe 100 ft away, it used to work at the same spot but now it won’t do start it at all and I do have subscription. I’ve tried uninstall twice but never solved the problem

It doesn't matter where you and the car are relative to each other... The app does not communicate with car directly...

The car needs to have the ability to receive signaling via satellite and/or AT&T cellular service for a number of different "connected" features including remote lock/unlock and remote start.

Try a remote unlock - if that works, then the issue has something to do with the ability to trigger the start function itself.

Assuming it could remote start previously, try the remote lock/un lock. Does that work?

Also, my 2017 Buick had those features for free for 5 years. My wifes 2019 Cadillac had them for 3 months. So you may just have to start paying if you timed out.

Hood open, door(s) open, active code, low fuel, vehicle not in Park, are all factors that can result in a failed remote or app start. There may be others.

Reinstalling the app was going to be my other suggestion, but looks like you already tried that. Or you could reboot the phone...

My Chevy volt would not remote start with a check engine light. Do you have any check engine lights on?

i dont have any CEL on, im sort of blind but 99% sure i dont have one LOL

dont have any of those, it can lock/unlock the car but somehow wont remote start after i swap out my bumper for some reason LMAO

Same issue. Remote start as well as Climate control not working. Tried everything from clearing data,re-install the app & rebooting the phone. No luck. Any clues?
