Possible Horse Power Loss??
Okay so everytime im on the Highway I have noticed that when I accelerate the car and it hits the 2000ish rpm it kinda makes a second pause and then keeps going up? The car is not as responsive even with the K&N Cold Air intake and the Solo HF cats. Im about to install some headers and do a tune as well. Could this probably fix the acceleration problem and make it more responsive? Or could it be that it has lost some hp due to the HF cats and no tune?

under the hood in the fuse box. Pull #5 and #20 and let it sit a while. Then plug them back in. Personally i think it has to do with the mods and no tune. Mine was sluggish until i put the new tune in. Turned into a whole new car after that

Ill give this a try tomorrow morning for sure, if not I guess I'll just have to wait to see what it feels like after the tune once the headers are installed. Thanks for the advice!

If it's something that you think feels serious get it looked at before your tune. You haven't done anything that would put your warranty in jeprody.

I'd suggest if you are accelerating on the highway you should downshift first. If automatic punch the gas harder so it downshifts as you start to accelerate. Besides giving you more power and not lugging the engine, you would be starting out above 2000 rpms anyway (that's how I know you aren't downshifting first).

sounds like you need a Range device to turn off your AFM, or if you are getting headers and a tune, make sure that AFM is tuned out - it's what's responsible for that delay.
