We have never failed a seat, intake, or exhaust valve in an OEM LT1 casting. This is across hundreds of in house builds that we've completed since 2014.

You can spend $1,200-$2,000 on porting OEM castings while reusing your intake and exhaust valves and never have a failure if you use the correct combination of parts.

Spend the other 3K on a proper fuel system.
I believe that to be true to an extent and mentioned that over the years. I don't understand why some of these companies that have been grinding cams for over 25years dating back to the LS1 didn't have this sorted out going into this platform? Did they not know any better and just assumed they could run similar lobe profiles that they do on the LS3? If that is the case, then the LT1 heads are still not as forgiving.

You could easily run the LME CID or Mast Black Label ones too with virtually identical results. I’m running standard 2” headers with my Mast BL heads with no problems.

Exactly!!! That's how I see it.
