Yikes, have you seen the deals out there. I think you should but it back to stock if you can and sell the charger separate.

Modifications never add "value" to a car. You are better off selling the Procharger separate. That's why I would go with the Procharger in the first place because of the ease of returning to stock when I decide to sell my Camaro.

IF it was new, used....you are looking at 30k-32k.
Figure his loaded for about $45k msrp, they are going for 20% off plus around 2-3k dealer discount, makes it 11-12 off new.

Why buy a zl1 anyways? Youre losing a ton on money on your current car and paying way too much to get another 75-100 hp you really don't need. You've already spent a fortune on a s/c , got a tune and swapped out exhaust.
Makes zero financial sense. Camaros don't hold value like a corvette and you've already devalued your car with aftermarket parts. Hell go buy a zl1 hood and some cheap plastic badges and no one will know the difference! Your ss already looks good as is. Last edited by DisturbedSS; 10-25-2016 at 03:30 AM. |

Keep it at least another year.......values have crashed since the 20% off sale........
I'd say realistic selling price with mods if you found the right buyer......35-36K

Yeah but in a few weeks you won't be able to find that anymore. I remember the same thing happened to the focus st where I wanted to buy one in January after they had a similar flash sale. The used ones were going for what I could of bought a new one a few months back so I passed and decided against buying one.

Remove the S/C and sell it, I am sure you have a tune so kiss that warranty good bye, the car is a $30k car now especially with the 20% off. I have seen several loaded $52-$53k 2SS convertible SS cars (A8's) for $38k.
I would keep the car but if you must get a ZL1 prepare for the BIG loss.

Yes OP I agree. Keep the car and hold it another year at least. 5th gen ZL1s ahave gone for 20% off. Most likely the new ZL1s will too. Why pay list or above now? You already have a very fast car. When it comes time pull the ProCharger off and put the stock tune back and trade it in.

I agree, been down that road before also. I removed all the aftermarket and had a good time on Craigslist selling it all off. Didn't break even but didn't lose nearly as much as I could have.
